Consumer Health Care:
Delivering health care value on the retail shelf
Our Consumer Healthcare operation includes the company's U.S., U.K. and Mexico manufacturing operations supporting the sale of OTC pharmaceutical and nutritional products. Our store-brand products contain the same active ingredients as the advertised brands for less cost to the consumer. With store brands, each retailer sells products under its store or another chosen brand name.
Perrigo offers a broad line of high-quality products comparable in quality and efficacy to such advertised brand products as Tylenol®, Advil® or One-A-Day®. For example, Tylenol® has acetaminophen as an active ingredient and is available in stores' analgesic (pain reliever) aisle. Store-brand acetaminophen is located next to the national brand, offering the same active ingredient (acetaminophen) and the same pain relief.
Prescription Pharmaceuticals:
Delivering health care value across the pharmacy counter
Our Rx Pharmaceuticals business is focused on the development, manufacture and sale of generic prescription drug products, primarily for the U.S. market. Manufacturing operations are based in the U.S. and Israel.
Nutritionals:
Leading the way in store brand infant formula
Recently acquired by Perrigo, PBM Products, LLC, was the first company to introduce private-label, or store-brand infant formulas to the U.S. PBM, now Perrigo Nutritionals, is the largest supplier of store-brand infant formulas and nutrition products in the world. With distribution to major retailers, Perrigo Nutritional products can be found in more than 40,000 retail locations around the world.
Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API):
The key to product quality and consistency
Primarily through our Israel-based business, Perrigo develops, manufactures and markets the complex chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients used worldwide by the generic drug industry. Certain of these ingredients are also used in Perrigo's own pharmaceutical products. We manufacture API at facilities in Israel, India and China.
Pharmaceutical and Medical Diagnostic Products (PDI):
Maintaining strong distribution partnerships in Israel
Through our Israel-based business, Perrigo markets and manufactures branded prescription drugs and medical diagnostic products through exclusive agreements with leading pharmaceutical companies.

Our Pharmaceutical and Medical Diagnostic Products businesses also market and manufacture branded prescription drugs under licenses. Other pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics products are imported to Israel through exclusive agreements.
