Mahima Pant Joshi is a Senior Total Rewards Consultant based out of our International Headquarters in Dublin! Below she shares some insights into what it's like working at the HQ!
Can you tell me a little bit about the Dublin location at Perrigo? Dublin is our International HQ, and we have recently returned to the office after working remotely during the pandemic! It's brilliant to be back after such a long time as it really is a great location! The office is well connected via numerous transport links! There are lots of meeting spaces, and you get to interact and meet so many people working for different markets and areas of the business! It really is the central hub for the organisation!
Tell me about your commute to work? The office is very accessible and the commute is simple for me! I can travel 30 minutes by train, as we are located right beside the train station. I can also drive, which takes me 45 minutes – we have some car parking spaces onsite and electric charging ports too which is a real benefit!
What is a typical day like for you when in the office? No two days are the same! It’s such an exciting job being within Rewards. One day I could be working with colleagues and work councils in our DACH region regarding pay and compensation changes and the next day I could be working on an employee assistance programme implementation in China! There is such variety!
What’s your typical lunchtime spot? We are quite lucky as we have a coffee shop attached to our building! I would regularly pop in there and then I go on a nice walk around Merrion Square which is located just around the corner from the office!
What are the development opportunities at Perrigo Dublin? I can see there’s room for development and progression not only within my immediate function but also within the wider HR space! Especially as we are investing in, and evolving our Global HR structure - there is lots of potential!
What’s your favourite part about the Dublin location? Being closely connected with my team and the people based here! For me, it's great to feel connected and part of the wider HR group outside of Total Rewards!
How would you describe the leadership style? I think there is a very collaborative way of working and there is a real level of comfort! Trust is also a big aspect and I really enjoy this elemant of my relationship with my manager.
Do you prefer to work from home or in the office? Why? I love the flexibility of working from home but I also love to meet people in the office! I think it's great to be onsite for specific meetings and to be able to catch up with colleagues! A mixture of both is ideal for me!
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion is major focus for Perrigo. We believe that by acknowledging and embracing our different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, we become even more aware of our unique consumer needs. TOGETHER, we make lives better.
What does DEI mean to you? For me, it is about not being looked at differently but to be treated as an equal by all colleagues. It is to be enabled to have a voice and to openly discuss these topics!
How have you seen DEI embraced at Perrigo? There's lots to be involved in, and i'm interested particularly in the Focus on Women! I'm looking forward to increased return to the office and a return of some of these in-person events!
We are always looking for passionate, dedicated people to join our teams at Perrigo. Take your next career step today and check out our live vacancies!
